Two people are texting each other to make plans. Because the messages are brief and lack tone or expression, each person reads the other's texts differently than intended. Replies meant as simple agreement or humour are read as annoyed or sarcastic, and the confusion escalates. The sketch shows how easily the same words can be understood in very different ways when tone and context are missing.
