Alex is struggling under the pressure of trying to do everything perfectly at school and visits the school counsellor to talk about how she is feeling. The counsellor listens and gently names what Alex seems to be carrying, creating a moment where Alex feels seen. Claire, Alex's mother, later gets a glimpse of the workload Alex manages daily and begins to understand the pressure more directly. At the end of the clip, Claire and Alex have a conversation where Claire acknowledges what Alex has been going through.
