Four animals approach a narrow bridge from different sides. When more than one animal tries to cross at the same time, they block each other. There is no dialogue, so all communication happens through movement and expression. The tension builds until a resolution begins to emerge.
• What did you notice about how the animals communicated without words?
• What clues showed you what each character was thinking?
• What clues showed you how each character was feeling?
• Was there a moment that surprised you?
• What had you expected to happen at that point?
• Have you ever been in a situation where two people wanted the same thing at the same time?
• What did you do or what helped in that moment?
• What do you think helped the characters find a way through?
The questions within this guide are designed to open dialogue and facilitate discussion around the relevant topics. It is up to the user to adapt as needed to best suit the person they are supporting. A neuroaffirming approach was central to the design of these resources and remains essential to their application.
