Shrek, Fiona, and Donkey are travelling by carriage to the Kingdom of Far Far Away. Donkey asks 'Are we there yet?' over and over. Shrek and Fiona say no each time. Shrek tries mocking Donkey by copying what he says. Donkey does not find this funny. Donkey says he is bored and Shrek tells him to find a way to entertain himself. Donkey entertains himself by making popping noises with his mouth. He keeps going until Shrek yells in frustration.
