Luca and Alberto stand at the top of a hill with a homemade scooter. Alberto wants to ride the scooter down a ramp, but Luca feels too scared to try. Alberto tells Luca that a worried voice in his head is holding him back, and gives that voice the name Bruno. Alberto encourages Luca to shout a saying that quiets the worried voice, and the two ride down the ramp together. The scooter breaks apart and the boys tumble into the sea, then come up laughing and cheering.
